    Michael Lovett is the Founder and Executive Vice President at HRD Strategies. His primary focus for the past twenty years has been corporate turnarounds, organizational restructuring, organizational development, talent management, human capital management, executive/managerial assessment and coaching, high performance work systems and employee selection systems.

    Michael’s experience bandwidth includes organizational development, human resources, electrical engineering, construction and manufacturing. As a CHRO, he led the transformation of Human Resource functions into strategic business partnerships with a focus on added value to the business enterprise. Michael Lovett’s executive leadership experience for the past twenty years has been corporate turnarounds, bankruptcy workouts, organizational restructuring, organizational development, talent management, executive/managerial assessment/coaching, high performance work systems and employee recruitment/selection systems. Of note is his role in transforming traditional management to team based, high performance leadership systems. He has led the design and implementation of selection processes, 360 degree assessments, strategic compensation systems, performance appraisal systems; self managed team structures, learning management systems, corporate university systems, leadership training, quality improvement and management development and succession. He has designed and implemented high performance work systems with international joint ventures and re-designed traditional entities into high performance cultures. The scope of experience with organizations such as ARCO, Fluor Daniel, Duracell and Halstead Industries is synergistic with his consultative practice in multi-dimensional industry verticals, public sectors and service organizations.

    Michael Lovett’s practical experience and industrial psychology training establishes credibility and value with clients, as he is pragmatic and achievement motivated. Michael is noted for his organizational performance work with KnowledgeWorks, funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Michael Lovett has published a quarterly journal titled Employee Empower and collaborated on “Working Scared” a business book written for managers working in trying times.
